DECOLATO is a Colombian design firm headquartered in Barranquilla, that uses patented computer software to create architectural projects applying lighting calculations and technology. Established in 2012, DECOLATO started being called Sonorox as lighting & acoustics supplier, a couple of years later; Founder Frank Narvaez & Co-Founder Carol Ballestas together implemented third-party plug-ins to calculate and render light in real time naming it Lumied. Today at DECOLATO, light has been redefined together with decor, audio & video, automation and architecture to make everything possible.
